A to Z Electric is currently seeking qualified Journeyman Electricians in the oil and gas industry. A to Z Electric is based out of Bayfield, Colorado and is currently performing electrical work in Colorado, and New Mexico. We are offering a competitive compensation package with an hourly range of $35-45 based on experience.
Position Summary:
As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in oil and gas facilities. This role requires strong technical knowledge, the ability to work in challenging environments, and a commitment to safety and compliance.
Applicants who are extended an employment offer will be required to complete a pre-employment drug screening, and background check as applicable by position. All employment offers are contingent upon the successful completion of the pre-employment process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Ensure work complies with national and local electrical codes and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and project managers.
- Work independently and as part of a team in remote field locations.
Qualifications:
- Active Journeyman Electrician License (State of CO or NM required).
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Willingness to travel – per diem provided.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in oil and gas facilities.
- Experience with automation/instrumentation systems preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
