Whether you're an experienced apprentice ready to advance your career, an experienced installer, or a Lead Installer, we'd like to hear from you. Your position, responsibilities, and compensation will be based on your experience, technical abilities, and leadership skills.
Most of our work is residential, with some light commercial installations. However, applicants with residential, commercial, or mixed HVAC installation experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will vary based on your experience and may include:
- Installing residential and light commercial HVAC systems including heat pumps, central A/C, furnaces, boilers, ductless mini-splits, air handlers, condensers, refrigeration line sets, condensate drains, ductwork modifications, venting, equipment pads, low-voltage controls, and indoor air quality products.
- Reading installation plans and manufacturer specifications, performing system start-ups and commissioning, and troubleshooting installation-related issues to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality installations.
- Maintaining clean, organized, and safe job sites while delivering excellent customer service and working effectively as part of a team.
- Lead Installers will oversee a two-person installation crew, coordinate projects, mentor apprentices, communicate with the office, and ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to Green Energy Mechanical's quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous HVAC installation experience ranging from experienced apprentice to Lead Installer.
- Experience installing heat pumps, central A/C systems, mini-splits, refrigeration piping, low-voltage wiring, and related HVAC equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems encountered during the installation process.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a "get it done" mindset.
- Team-oriented, flexible, adaptable, and able to adjust to changing priorities and jobsite conditions.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record. EPA Certification is preferred but not required.
- Lead candidates should have previous experience leading installation crews and mentoring junior installers.

Pay: $25.00 - $55.00 per hour
