Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate the POS system to process payments and keep track of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age
- Monitor customer behavior and enforce responsible drinking practices
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for customers
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, including mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Familiarity with a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as their ingredients and recipes
- Proficient in using POS systems to process orders and payments accurately
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, handling cash, and making change
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Knowledge of food service regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in banquet or restaurant settings is preferred but not required
