Welder / Fabricator – Full-Time Position
Position Title: Welder / Fabricator Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: 40 - 45 Hours Per Week
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will help us produce high-quality structures and products that meet project specifications and industry codes. This position involves performing MIG, TIG and Stick welding, and metal fabrication and assembling various metal components. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on a variety of metals and materials.
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures, components, and equipment according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Measure, cut, fit, and prepare materials for fabrication and assembly.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
- Operate welding machines, cutting equipment, grinders, and other fabrication tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and material requirements.
- Assist with general shop and fabrication duties as needed.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, fabrication methods, and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
- Ability to lift and carry materials, equipment, and tools as required.
Requirements
- Must provide and maintain basic welding gear, hand tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE) necessary to perform job duties.
- Must have reliable transportation and maintain dependable attendance.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physically demanding work for extended periods.
Compensation and Benefits
