The Sales Administrative Assistant provides administrative and customer support to the Sales Department by processing orders, maintaining customer information, coordinating product setup and shipments, preparing reports, and supporting assigned customer accounts.
Essential Functions
- Process customer orders and verify product availability.
- Monitor and process EDI orders.
- Coordinate sample requests and shipments.
- Complete customer new-item setup documentation.
- Maintain customer pricing, account files, and reports.
- Process customer returns.
- Provide administrative support to the Sales Department.
- Enter shipping information into customer portals.
- Participate in meetings, training, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Three to five years of administrative or sales support experience preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Google.
- Experience with QAD or similar ERP systems preferred.
- Experience with EDI and customer portals preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Adobe Photoshop experience is a plus.
