Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and laundry rooms
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces, appliances, and fixtures
- Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to ensure a pristine appearance
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Provide excellent customer service by respecting clients’ preferences and addressing any special requests
- Use proper janitorial techniques to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards and safety regulations
- Manage time efficiently to complete scheduled cleaning tasks within designated periods while maintaining quality
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles; hotel or commercial cleaning experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Ability to perform sanitation tasks with attention to detail and consistency
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices and janitorial supplies
- Ability to handle laundry equipment safely and effectively
- Basic cooking skills are advantageous for assisting with light meal prep or kitchen tidying when needed
