Job Overview
Build & Transform Construction is seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Window Installer to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge in the window and door industry - setting windows and sliding/interior/exterior doors (man doors, big doors, bi-folds and multi-slide). This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship, attention to detail, punctuality, and the ability to work as part of a team.
The Lead Window Installer is responsible for executing a range of window and door installation tasks, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to install window and doors: new build installs, retrofits, big doors, man doors, interior/exterior finish work
- Ability to read measuring tape to precise measurements for required window & door installations
- Ability to safely use basic hand tools/power tools
- Ensure all installations are plumb and level, adhering to building codes
- Execute caulking tasks to seal joints and prevent water intrusion
- Perform finish carpentry trim work (interior & exterior)
- Follow directions while using good judgement to understand when changes need to be made and questions need to be asked
- Communicate with Window Project Manager on daily basis
- Photograph daily work and upload accordingly
- Show up on time, ready to work in a presentable & professional manner
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Must have reliable transportation (4x4 preferred due to weather conditions and job site locations)
- Tools Required: finish nail gun, cordless impact drill, skill saw, Sawzall, tool bags, levels, and other basic tools necessary for the scope of work (to be purchased and owned by the employee)
- Must be physically capable of lifting windows, doors, lumber, and trim on the job site
- Must be able to work from heights above 20 feet using ladders and/or scaffolding
- Must possess OSHA 10 card (or be willing to obtain within first 60 days of employment)
- Willingness to travel outside of Reno area (Truckee/Tahoe/Carson City/etc.) in various weather conditions
Experience
- Proven experience (3 years + preferred) as a Lead Window Installer or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of window and door install techniques, materials, tools, and safety practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Work closely with clients, subcontractors and team members in a professional and respectful manner
- Self-starter that's team oriented
- Knowledge of CompanyCam is a plus
Notes
- Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm
- Compensation will be based on experience

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
