Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled HVAC & Refrigeration Technician to support multiple restaurants locations throughout Wake County.
This is a priority hire for the company. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to minimizing equipment downtime in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Self-motivated able to work independently and solve problems proactively.
Responsibilities
· Perform preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
· Service and maintain commercial restaurant equipment including:
Walk-in freezers and coolers
Ice machines
· Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration system issues
· Repair or replace defective components and wiring
· Inspect, clean, and test systems for proper operation
· Identify potential problems before equipment failure
· Maintain detailed service records
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
· Provide professional and courteous service to restaurant management
· Collaborate with the service team to prioritize maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of active HVAC field experience
- Experience with commercial refrigeration preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams
- Strong communication skills
- Billingual is a plus
