Duties
- Greet patients warmly and verify their appointment details while ensuring all necessary documentation is complete
- Maintain accurate patient records by updating medical files with relevant information and notes
- Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to facilitate seamless care delivery
- Assist with billing inquiries, payment processing, and insurance verifications to support administrative workflows
- Ensure the clinic environment remains welcoming, organized, and compliant with health privacy regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and administrative procedures within healthcare settings
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy office atmosphere
- Familiarity with medical office software and electronic health records systems being familiar with eCW is a plus!
- Prior experience in surgery center or similar healthcare office is highly desirable
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and external partners
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining professionalism at all times
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
