Make a meaningful impact in the educational journey of students by providing essential psychological services during two consecutive maternity leaves. This contract opportunity offers an immersive experience in both evaluation and hands-on support, working closely with young learners and an invested school community.
As a valued School Psychologist, you will:
- Deliver assessments, consultations, and direct interventions to students
- Contribute to developing and implementing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Lead the creation of Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP) using Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)
- Partner collaboratively with teachers, families, and administrators to foster student achievement and growth
- Maintain adherence to all applicable state and federal guidelines to ensure program compliance and student safety
Qualifications we look for:
- Valid Minnesota School Psychologist certification/licensure
- Proficiency in conducting FBAs and engaging in IEP goal and PBSP planning
- Thorough understanding of state and federal rules, codes, and educational statutes related to school psychology
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with staff, administrators, and families
This assignment covers a full 40-hour workweek, running from late August until winter break in December. The position is entirely onsite—virtual services are not being accepted at this time—providing the opportunity to contribute in person to a welcoming school environment.
