The Cook collaborates with other cooks and food prep techs under the direction of a supervisor to requisition, prepare, season, and cook a wide range of foods, including soups, salads, bakery and entrees for patients, employees, or patrons.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED plus 1 year experience in institutional or commercial cooking.
Must be able to work during Inclement Weather.
Must be able to work rotating Weekends and Holidays.

Responsibilities:
Cleans, cut, and cook food items according to menus, special dietary or nutritional restrictions, or numbers of portions to be served.
Clean and inspect gallery equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functional operation.
Apportion and serve food to patients, employees, and patrons.
Other duties as assigned.
