Responsibilities
- Safely operate a flatbed truck to deliver materials to customers
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and safely
- Maintain accurate driving logs and hours in compliance with DOT regulations
- Utilize company ELD system for tracking and reporting (training provided)
- Submit daily fuel reports and retain all fuel receipts
- Report any mechanical or safety issues immediately
- Collect payments and required signatures during deliveries
- Turn in all delivery paperwork and documentation daily
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers at all times
Qualifications (Mandatory Requirements)
- Ability to operate a 10-speed manual transmission (required)
- Experience driving a Operated a 2006 Freightliner flatbed truck with a 24-foot flatbed.
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required
- Current DOT Medical Card required
- Strong understanding of safe driving practices and DOT compliance
