Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with experience in fine dining or nightclub settings. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating exceptional beverage experiences for our guests while maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Operate Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations while maintaining cleanliness in the bar area.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Assist with banquet services and catering events as needed, ensuring high-quality beverage service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service and beverage pairings.
- Maintain inventory of bar supplies and assist with ordering when necessary.
- Stay informed about new products, trends, and techniques in the food industry to enhance guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and drink preparation measurements.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Experience in brewing or knowledge of various beverage types is advantageous.
