- Perform acupuncture treatments targeting acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and overall pain relief, ensuring precise application aligned with best practices.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to develop tailored treatment plans.
- Utilize herbal medicine techniques and other TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) modalities to enhance healing processes.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR/EHR management) documenting patient progress, treatment details, and clinical notes.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals such as physicians, chiropractors, and physical therapists to coordinate patient care strategies.
- Apply aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety and prevent infections.
- Educate patients on self-care practices, including physiologic understanding and pain management techniques, to empower ongoing health improvements.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Acupuncturist in the respective state or region.
- Proven experience in acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and pain medicine.
- Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture practice.
- Demonstrated ability in patient service, client communication, and delivering direct patient care with compassion.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR/EHR management) systems for documentation and data tracking.
- Familiarity with herbal medicine techniques and physical examinations as part of comprehensive patient assessment.
