Responsibilities

- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and health regulations
- Support food presentation by plating dishes attractively and efficiently for service
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas to promote a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members during meal preparation, catering events, and special functions to deliver exceptional service
- Assist with food inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations within the food industry or restaurant settings
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation for various dietary needs
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with menu planning, catering, serving, and food industry best practices
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth kitchen operations
