An Assembler ensures that parts are fitted correctly to meet the requirements and specifications of the final product. Their duties and responsibilities include:
Assembler Job Responsibilities:
- Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
- Reads and deciphers assembly instructions.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying product lists and gathering parts, tools, and materials.
- Positions or aligns components and parts with hand tools to assemble parts, examining connections for correct fit.
- Conducts quality control checks.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit
- Maintains a clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains inventory by checking stock to determine supply levels and notifying the inventory clerk of low levels.
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Strictly follows all personal protection equipment (PPE) requirements and safety procedures.

- Focus on quality control.
- Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
