Working closely with the Bartender team, the Bar Back ensures the bar is consistently clean, stocked, and operating at full capacity. This position requires a strong service mindset, solid knowledge of bar operations, and the ability to stay focused and efficient in a fast paced, high volume environment.

This position is part of a Service Charge pay model and is compensated primarily through commission based earnings from service charges on guest checks shared among front of house team members. This position may also receive tips from customers. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist bartenders with all aspects of bar service to ensure guests receive prompt and seamless service throughout each shift.
2. Follow all recipes and product specifications for mixing batched beverages and preparing garnishes.
3. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and well stocked bar at all times, including monitoring and replenishing all liquor, garnishes, glassware, and supplies.
4. Check taps, equipment, and appliances to confirm proper working order; report any issues to management promptly.
5. Follow all Parker Hospitality processes for customer service, adult beverage service, and cash handling policies and procedures.
6. Adhere to all company health, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures.
7. Interact with guests in a warm and professional manner and assist with questions as needed.
8. Complete all assigned side work thoroughly and to standard.
9. Accept direction and constructive feedback from management.
10. Maintain a positive and professional attitude throughout every shift.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must meet the state minimum age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages.
- Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken.
- Minimum of one year of closely related bartending or bar support experience; high volume or fast casual dining environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails as well as basic beverage preparation.
- Outgoing, friendly, and enthusiastic personality with the ability to interact professionally with guests and coworkers.

- Pass a drug and alcohol test within the first 90 days of employment, where required.
- Must be able to stand or walk for the majority of a shift.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds from floor to waist level.
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and perform physical tasks as required.
- Must be available to work a variety of hours, days, and shifts including weekends.
