Position Summary
The Lead Cleaner serves as a key member of our cleaning team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and professionalism at all client locations. This role includes performing specialty and deep cleaning services, filling in for absent team members, training new employees, and providing ongoing support and motivation to cleaning staff.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine commercial cleaning duties at various client locations
- Fill in for cleaners during absences, vacations, or staffing shortages
- Complete specialty cleaning projects, including deep cleans, floor care, and other detailed services
- Train and onboard new cleaning staff on company procedures and quality standards
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure work meets company expectations
- Provide coaching, support, and motivation to team members
- Assist with scheduling and communicating staffing needs to management
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies
- Respond professionally to client requests and concerns
Qualifications:
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between job sites
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical cleaning tasks
- Flexible schedule, including evenings or weekends as needed
