Kirms Communications LLC
Kirms Communications Inc was established in 1982, and originally was a cable TV/satellite service company. Kirms was one of Florida's leading contractor's during the cellular boom and later converted into Kirms Communications LLC, transitioning from cellular to local government public safety systems. Kirms has grown into a wide variety of work including but not limited to: full tower build/modifications, utility pole installations, solar network integration, microwave antenna/elliptical waveguide installation, public safety systems maintenance, site work/prep, masonry, technology integration, and finish work. We are a 3rd generation family owned and operated company.
Job Title: Apprentice/Tower Hand
This position is for novice and/or experience in the construction/telecommunications industry. Kirms Communications increases pay with experience. The more you know the more you make, period! Requirements:
- Clean driving record is a must
- Have working email with access
- Good work ethic.
- Good communication skills.
- Has working phone.
- RELIABLE transportation.
- Any and all previous construction experience a plus.
- Able to pass background check.
- Pass random drug screen.
- Can lift 50lbs +
- Works well in team environment and is motivated to learn and advance; seeks new opportunities to learn
(If tower climber) Additional Requirements for all levels:
- Must provide own harness/climbing gear. (We can make other arrangements if necessary)
- Ability to climb vertical towers 2-3 times per day; must be comfortable with climbing structures of up to 900 feet.
- Must be able to work seamlessly on standoff mounts.
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions, which sometimes include more extreme hot or cold weather conditions, including environmental hazards including insects, animals, plants, etc.
- Motivated to learn and advance new skills.
- Heavy overnight travel required at times
Additional skills for potential pay increase:
- Transportation is Truck/Cargo van.
- Ability to tow trailers.
- Certified welding.
- Has array of hand tools/power tools that pertain to work performed.
- Certifications applicable to construction or tower industry.
- If transportation is Diesel - fuel stipend provided.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,500.00 - $130,000.00 per year
