Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide expert recommendations to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Upsell menu items to increase sales and maximize guest satisfaction through friendly suggestions and personalized service
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns quickly, and ensuring overall guest happiness
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support smooth restaurant operations
- Handle cash transactions accurately with cash handling skills and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for efficient order processing
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation and sanitation standards
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or cashiering enhances your ability to deliver seamless service
