Behavioral Health Services of Virginia (BHSVA)
Behavioral Health Services of Virginia (BHSVA) is seeking motivated and dependable Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs) and QMHP-Trainees (QMHP-Ts) to provide community-based behavioral health services throughout Richmond and Central Virginia.
We offer consistent caseloads, ongoing clinical support, structured supervision, and opportunities for professional growth. This is not a PRN or on-call position. Full-time staff receive a steady caseload while maintaining flexibility in managing their schedules.

What You'll Do
- Provide Mental Health Skill Building Services (MHSS) and/or Intensive In-Home Services (IIH)
- Deliver individualized, skill-building interventions based on client needs and treatment goals
- Work with children, adolescents, adults, and families throughout Richmond and surrounding communities
- Help clients strengthen coping, communication, emotional regulation, independent living, and community functioning skills
- Maintain consistent contact with assigned clients and effectively manage your caseload
- Collaborate with families, schools, healthcare providers, and other community partners
- Complete accurate clinical documentation within 24 hours of service delivery
- Participate in required weekly supervision, team meetings, and agency trainings
- Maintain compliance with agency policies and applicable Virginia and Medicaid requirements
Qualifications
- Current Virginia QMHP or QMHP-T registration/eligibility required
- Bachelor's or master's degree in an applicable human services field, based on QMHP qualification requirements
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently in community-based settings
- Ability to maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Dependable transportation and ability to travel throughout the assigned service area
- Ability to successfully complete required onboarding, credentialing, background checks, and agency training
