American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PCU/Telemetry position at an acute care hospital, requiring at least 1 year of experience and current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Acute care hospital setting with 255 staffed beds
-
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) serving adult patients with acute medical conditions including cardiac, neuro, renal, infectious disease, and pulmonary cases

Patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5

Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM)

Every other Saturday required; Sundays off

Charting via Meditech
-
13-week contract
-
Active VA or Compact RN license required

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

PCU or telemetry nursing experience required

Responsible for coordination of direct patient care and patient education

Black or Caribbean blue scrubs required
