Responsibilities
- Safely operate motor coaches, ensuring the comfort and security of all passengers.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to guarantee vehicle readiness and compliance with safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, schedules, and any necessary updates.
- Manage passenger behavior and ensure a respectful environment throughout the journey.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, particularly those with special needs or children.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts.
- Collaborate with dispatchers to report any issues or delays promptly.
- Uphold exceptional customer service standards by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns.
- Document any incidents or issues that arise during transit in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Basic qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for bus operation.
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Proficient in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with diverse groups of passengers.
- 3 Years of experience driving a motor coach bus
