Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Brewing Assistant Back of House to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Assist with brewing operations, including ingredient handling, mash preparation, fermentation monitoring, and equipment setup
- Support packaging processes such as filling, capping, labeling, and palletizing bottles or cans with precision and care
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all brewing equipment, work areas, and tools in accordance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standard
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts safely for moving raw materials and finished products
- Follow strict safety protocols related to chemical handling, heavy lifting, and industrial machinery operation to ensure a safe working environment
- Conduct quality assurance checks throughout production to uphold product consistency and safety standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience in beverage manufacturing or food & beverage production environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures, HACCP protocols, GMP standards, and food safety regulations
- Experience operating machinery such as bottling lines or brewing systems is advantageous
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Basic math skills for measurements, recipe adjustments, and quality checks
- Certification or experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment preferred
- Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments; adherence to safety protocols is essential
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to lead or support team efforts in a fast-paced setting
