Tortuga Sandwich Shop is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team.
As a sous chef you will assist the chef in ensuring that every food item that leaves our kitchen is made consistent and awesome.
Your main job will be expediting, wrapping sandwiches, making some side items, garnishing and packaging food as it is provided by cooks.
During busier times, you will need to be able to strategize and communicate to the cooks, which items are needed fastest, and also make sure that we maintain our quality standards. Communication with front of house is a must,
A giant part of your job is to keep us clean. Both throughout the shift and at the end of the night, participating in cleanup and making sure that the staff is also doing their parts.
Most of all, I need someone who can manage a team of different personalities and be nice and keep everyone motivated. We do not need any bullies

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
