Position Summary
As a Line Cook, you’ll be an integral part of our kitchen, preparing and executing dishes with precision, consistency, and creativity. You’ll work closely with our Executive Chef and culinary team to uphold the high standards of quality and presentation that SARTO Providence is known for.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to recipe and presentation specifications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines (ServSafe certification a plus)
- Assist with prep work, inventory, and stocking stations
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak hours
- Uphold the restaurant’s standards for food quality, timing, and guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume restaurant preferred
- Strong knife skills and understanding of culinary techniques
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and reliability are essential
- Flexible schedule – must be available nights, weekends, and holidays
