Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble a variety of fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards and recipes
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for order processing and cash handling
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food prep areas, dining spaces, and throughout the restaurant to ensure food safety compliance
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while ensuring quality standards are met
- Assist with food handling tasks including wrapping, packaging, and stocking ingredients for quick service turnaround
- Support team members with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and restocking supplies to keep the restaurant running smoothly
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation within a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transactions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with a positive attitude
