Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our insurance agency team. This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience by assisting policyholders with their insurance needs, maintaining strong customer relationships, supporting agency retention goals, and identifying opportunities to better protect clients.
The ideal candidate is organized, professional, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent service while contributing to the growth and success of the agency.
Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Client Relationships
- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients regarding policy questions, billing inquiries, coverage changes, and general service needs.
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional, timely, and helpful communication.
- Review customer accounts to ensure proper coverage and identify potential gaps.
- Proactively contact clients regarding renewals, policy updates, missing information, and retention opportunities.
- Provide solutions to customer concerns while maintaining a positive agency experience.
Policy Management & Administration
- Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and documentation requests.
- Assist clients with claims questions and provide guidance through the claims process.
- Maintain accurate customer records and document all interactions in agency management systems.
- Generate certificates of insurance, ID cards, evidence of insurance, and other policy documents as needed.
- Ensure compliance with carrier guidelines, agency procedures, and insurance regulations.
Retention & Account Growth
- Conduct policy reviews to strengthen client relationships and improve retention.
- Identify opportunities for additional insurance products based on customer needs.
- Support cross-selling efforts including auto, home, life, business, and other insurance solutions.
- Partner with producers and agency leadership to achieve agency growth goals.
- Follow up on renewal concerns, rate changes, and customer retention opportunities.
Agency Support
- Assist with daily agency operations to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Support sales team members with customer onboarding and account management.
- Participate in training, meetings, and ongoing professional development.
- Maintain a positive, team-focused attitude and contribute to agency culture.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
- Prior insurance agency experience preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Comfortable using agency management systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office products.
Pay: $2,900.00 - $3,800.00 per month
