Overview

Duties
- Operate saw cutting machinery to process graphite materials according to detailed blueprints and specifications
- Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify material dimensions and quality standards
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine cutting sequences and tooling requirements
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the fabrication process to identify defects or deviations from specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols related to electrical discharge machining, mechanical operations, and material handling
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues quickly
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards for precise fabrication
- Ability to use hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and setting up machinery
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to crane operation, electrical discharge machining, sheet metal handling, and machining operations
- Valid certification or experience with forklift operation is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality inspection and assembly processes
