Job Title: Prep Cook - Denver
Reports To: Executive Chef, Sous Chef
AR Denver is looking for highly motivated and talented Prep Cooks in Denver, CO that are passionate about food, learning, and working with a team of professionals. We are a talented group of chefs and servers, along with a few Business people, who are changing the way companies provide lunch for their employees.Primary job responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare food and meal components for daily service by meeting quality and safety guidelines
- Prepping the deli/salad bar items daily and relaying the ingredients of the day to the GM
- Support the Executive Chef and Kitchen team with production of diverse menus in accordance with AR and the client’s standards
- Fill in for other BOH staff as needed in situations of absence
- Follow Recipes and Ingredients lists
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
- Assisting with receivables and organization of goods and food
- Adhere to Company standards and standard food safety practices
- Dress Code, Food Service Safety Standards, Station Cleanliness, Timeliness, Sense of Urgency, Professional Conduct, Trash removal/Discarded Product/Weighing Leftovers
- Sweeping and Mopping of Floors
- Other duties as assigned by Chefs or other Managers
Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Current ServSafe or Food Handler certificate
- 1-2 years valid experience a plus
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position throughout entire shift
- Must be able to move continuously inside the offices to kitchens and client sites
- Must be able to constantly position self to maintain equipment and supplies
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Must be able to lift 40+ lbs
- throughout the shift
- Must meet COVID19 Vaccination requirements for onsite client required positions

Compensation and Perks:
- $21/hr; Non-exempt
- Approximately $160 monthly transportation stipend
- Monday - Friday: 6:00am - 2:30pm (no nights or weekends as part of standard schedule)
