Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating accurate and competitive estimates for painting projects, building strong relationships with clients, and closing sales. This role is critical to our business as it directly impacts our ability to secure and successfully deliver projects. Salary based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation: Meet with potential clients to discuss their painting needs, assess the scope of the project, and provide expert advice on color choices, finishes, and materials. Attend pre/post bid meetings.
- Estimating: Prepare detailed, accurate, and competitive estimates for commercial painting projects, considering labor, materials, and time. With an understanding of union trade jurisdictions.
- Proposal Preparation: Develop and present comprehensive project proposals, including timelines, pricing, and terms, ensuring clarity and transparency.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a positive experience from initial contact through project completion.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the production team, superintendent, and owners to ensure that all project details are communicated clearly and that client expectations are met or exceeded.
- Cost Management: Maintain CO log, job cost management, billing, as well as complete close out documents.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience: High School Diploma with 2 or more years of college or trade experience. 2 or more years of successfully estimating in commercial/ industrial painting environment.
- Skills: Strong understanding of painting processes, materials, and techniques; ability to produce accurate and detailed estimates.
- Customer Focus: Commitment to providing outstanding customer service, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Technology: Proficiency with estimating software and tools. On Center Software is a plus
- Organization: Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client meetings and site visits.

8 hour shift

· Construction Estimating: 1 year ( Preferred)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
