American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring telemetry and IV skills along with an MD or compact RN license.

Work in a 38-bed Medicine unit within a hospital setting
-
Patient population includes cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, and substance abuse cases, as well as medical diagnoses with underlying psychiatric disorders
-
RN to patient ratio is 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights and weekends

PCT to patient ratio is 1:10
-
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
-
36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
-
Weekend rotation required every other weekend
-
Holiday coverage required every other holiday and as needed
-
No on-call responsibilities

Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) currently in hand

Telemetry Med/Surg unit experience required

IV skills required

Comparable facility size experience preferred based on assigned facility bed count

Provide nursing care to patients with cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, and psychiatric-related medical conditions
