Proplate USA LLC is an exciting new venture with ambitious growth plans over the coming years. As part of our expansion, we are seeking a Financial Controller who is eager to play a key role in building the finance and administrative function from the ground up and supporting the business through its next phase of growth.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys setting up processes, working close to the business, and gradually developing a high-performing finance function.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and develop the finance and administrative function for Proplate USA LLC
· Take ownership of day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
· Assist with data entry to Microsoft Dynamics365 Finance and Production systems
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
· Ensure strong internal controls, compliance with statutory requirements, and accurate financial reporting
· Support business planning, investment analysis, and decision-making as the company scales
· Establish and improve financial processes, systems, and routines suitable for a growing business
· Act as a trusted financial partner to Group and Local management, providing insight and guidance
· Liaise with external partners such as auditors, banks, tax advisors, and vendors
Requirements
· Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
· Proven experience in a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role
· Strong hands-on accounting background combined with the ability to lead and develop a finance function
· Experience working in a growing or entrepreneurial business environment is highly desirable
· Solid understanding of US accounting standards, financial controls, and compliance
· High level of analytical ability, attention to detail, and business acumen
· Ability to work independently, take ownership, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving organization
Systems Experience
· Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management is a significant advantage
· Strong general ERP system experience and interest in system optimization and process automation
