Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and standards
- Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food handling duties responsibly, ensuring proper storage and sanitation practices are followed
- Buss tables and clear dining areas promptly to support smooth restaurant operations
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when required
- Support banquet and special event setups by preparing serving stations and assisting with food presentation
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards is highly valued
- Experience with cooking, food preparation, and kitchen operations is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and serve guests courteously
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings such as hotels or hospitality venues
- Demonstrated commitment to guest services and hospitality excellence
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
