Unarmed Security Officer (Night Shift) – Motel 6 | Anaheim/Fullerton Area

Shift: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM (8-hour shifts)
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, observant, and professional Unarmed Security Officer to provide overnight security services at a Motel 6 property in the Anaheim/Fullerton area. The ideal candidate will be dependable, maintain a visible security presence, and provide excellent customer service while ensuring the safety of guests, staff, and property.
Responsibilities
- Conduct continuous foot patrols throughout the property, including all parking areas, stairwells, walkways, and common areas.
- Actively identify and address unauthorized individuals, trespassers, or transients on the property in accordance with company procedures.
- Complete detailed incident and activity reports using the company's reporting platform.
- Submit routine patrol reports every 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Respond to guest noise complaints professionally and assist in resolving disturbances.
- Check in with the front desk at least once every hour to provide updates and assist with security-related needs.
- Assist hotel staff with security concerns and other reasonable requests as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and communicate effectively with guests, hotel staff, and management.
- Report emergencies, suspicious activity, safety hazards, and incidents promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid California Guard Card (required).
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
- Strong observation and communication skills.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods during the shift.
- Comfortable using a smartphone or mobile device to complete electronic reports.
- Previous security experience is preferred but not required.
