Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms by ensuring cleanliness, proper supplies, and equipment are ready for patient visits
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and preparing necessary documentation
- Collect and process laboratory specimens accurately, following safety protocols
- Schedule patient appointments, confirm upcoming visits, and manage patient flow efficiently
- Provide patient education on treatments, medications, and follow-up care instructions in a clear and compassionate manner
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) by documenting patient interactions thoroughly and confidentially
- Support administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing patient check-in/check-out procedures, and handling insurance documentation
Experience
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical support role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of medical terminology, basic clinical procedures, and infection control standards is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact empathetically with patients and collaborate with healthcare team members
- Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Limited scope X Ray operation preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a significant plus

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
