Clinical Medical Assistant – Dermatology (Part-Time, In-Person)

You’ll gain exposure to both medical dermatology and cosmetic procedures in a calm, supportive environment with no weekends and flexible weekday hours. We’re seeking someone proactive, personable, and reliable to be a long-term part of our patient care team.
What You’ll Do
- Room and prep patients, take vitals, and collect history
- Scribe patient visits in the EMR (electronic medical record)
- Assist in minor in-office dermatologic procedures (biopsies, excisions, etc.)
- Handle administrative tasks like prior authorizations, insurance verification, and lab follow-ups
- Set up and clean exam rooms and medical tools
- Draw blood and perform phlebotomy when needed (optional)
- Field patient phone calls and coordinate care
- Be a professional, caring presence for our patients from start to finish
What We’re Looking For
- Certified Medical Assistant with at least 1 year of dermatology experience (required)
- Tech-savvy and efficient with EMR software and scheduling tools
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Must be vaccinated against COVID-19
- Current CPR certification
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience assisting with cosmetic dermatology (e.g. lasers, fillers, microneedling)
- Familiarity with electronic prior authorizations and insurance portals
- Comfortable drawing blood (but not required)
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking a plus!)
