Shift Details: 8–8.5 Hours/Day | Shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM–6:00 PM | 40 Hours/Week
Pay: $20/hr - $21/hr on W2
Description
Client is seeking licensed and certified Pharmacy Technicians to join a remote call center team supporting patients receiving dialysis-related supplies and medications. Pharmacy Technicians will answer patient calls, address questions regarding delivered supplies, provide clear guidance, and deliver empathetic customer service to patients, including elderly or medically vulnerable individuals.
This is a high-volume call center environment requiring strong communication, patience, empathy, and the ability to handle continuous inbound calls. Remote online training will be provided for several weeks before transitioning into regular call responsibilities.
Bilingual Spanish/English Pharmacy Technicians are strongly preferred for VNTVJP00001456 and must be fluent in Spanish, as the role supports a specialized Spanish-language line.
Job Responsibilities
- Answer high-volume inbound patient calls throughout the workday.
- Assist patients with questions regarding dialysis supplies and delivered orders.
- Provide clear, professional, and empathetic customer service.
- Communicate effectively with patients who may be elderly, confused, or experiencing health-related challenges.
- Research and resolve patient questions using pharmacy, insurance, and customer service systems.
- Document customer interactions and required information accurately.
- Follow established procedures and maintain professionalism during challenging calls.
- Complete required training and participate in simulated and shadow calls.
- Continue assisting customers until calls in the queue are completed, including during closing shifts.
- Work holidays and scheduled shifts as required.
- For bilingual positions, communicate fluently in both English and Spanish on the specialized customer service line.
Required
- Active Pharmacy Technician License (L).
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (C) required.
- Must live and maintain pharmacy technician licensure in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, or Florida.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and professional phone etiquette.
- Strong empathy and patience when working with patients.
- Ability to work in a high-volume call center environment.
- Ability to work remotely and complete online training.
- Ability to work scheduled shifts between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
- Ability to work holidays as required.
- Stable employment history preferred; contract positions should be clearly identified on the resume.

Training
- Several weeks of remote online training.
- Training begins on September 28.
- Training will initially be conducted on the first shift.

- Candidates will initially work with the Baxter system before transitioning to the new Vantive system.
