Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Nurse Coordinator (RN) to oversee nursing operations during the evening and night shifts. In this leadership role, you will ensure high-quality patient care, provide clinical support to nursing staff, coordinate hospital operations, manage staffing, and promote compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee nursing services during evening and night shifts.
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and support nursing staff while promoting teamwork and professional development.
- Conduct patient care rounds to evaluate quality of care and adherence to clinical standards.
- Manage staffing needs for current and upcoming shifts.
- Respond to hospital codes and ensure appropriate documentation and resource allocation.
- Monitor patient safety, including restraint documentation, falls, and observation requirements.
- Investigate and resolve patient care concerns, incidents, and complaints.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to improve patient outcomes and quality initiatives.
- Promote evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement.
- Maintain effective communication with interdisciplinary teams and leadership.
- Foster a positive, professional, and patient-centered work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in an acute care or hospital setting.
- Strong clinical leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives and Root Cause Analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN).
- Certification in a nursing specialty.
Required Certifications
- Current New York State RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Specialty Certification
Assignment Details
- Location: Brooklyn, NY
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Schedule: 5 x 8-hour Night Shifts
- Shift: Nights
Pay: $85.00 - $90.00 per hour
