Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels through accurate stock replenishment, stocking shelves, and organizing backroom storage areas.
- Operate RF scanners and pallet jacks to efficiently load, unload, and move products within the store and warehouse.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments, inspecting products, and updating inventory control systems.
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and ensuring proper signage for easy customer access.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while handling produce, retail items, or grocery stock to maintain store standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including cleaning shelves, packaging products, and organizing stockrooms to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers in locating items, answering questions about products, and supporting retail sales efforts.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with inventory management systems is preferred.
- Ability to operate RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock control and merchandising.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer needs.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing manual tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail math is advantageous for accurate stock management.
