At Madrona Hospice Care Inc., we've designed a plan of care that will work for you and your family. We understand the importance in providing you the guidance to make those decisions easier and before a time of crisis. That’s why we have a diverse team of experienced professionals to offer a broad range of services.
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist with Madrona Hospice Care, you will provide consultative full-cycle recruitment for clinical and office support hires. This role would also support several additional agencies in the same space. The ultimate goal is to provide quality hires in a timely manner according to business needs.
We value teamwork, empathy, and a commitment to high-quality service, all aimed at putting patients and their families at ease during their transition. If you are passionate about making a positive impact in patients' lives and working in a supportive and family-oriented atmosphere, we encourage you to join us in providing exceptional home hospice care.
Responsibilities
-
Full-Cycle Recruitment: Own end-to-end recruitment for clinical roles (RNs, LVNs, PTs, OTs, SLPs, MSWs, HHAs, chaplains, and volunteers) and office/administrative roles across our Bay Area home health and hospice agencies.
-
Sourcing & Pipeline: Build and maintain healthy candidate pipelines through job boards, direct sourcing, referrals, community partnerships, nursing schools, and professional networks.
-
Interviewing & Coordination: Screen resumes, conduct interviews, coordinate hiring-manager interviews, and keep every requisition moving with urgency and clear next steps.
-
Closing: Present compelling offers, navigate compensation conversations, address candidate concerns, and consistently close top candidates. Closing ratio, speed to hire, and speed to onboarding are key measures of success.
-
Employer Brand: Serve as an ambassador and the face of the company — representing our culture and mission at job fairs, hiring events, and in every candidate interaction to attract new talent.
-
ATS Management: Manage requisitions, candidate pipelines, and reporting within our applicant tracking system; keep data clean, current, and audit-ready.
-
Stakeholder Partnership: Partner closely with hiring managers, clinical directors, and People & Culture to calibrate role requirements, forecast hiring needs, and deliver a seamless hand-off into onboarding.
-
Compliance: Ensure recruitment practices align with California employment law and home health/hospice regulatory requirements, including credential, license, and education standards.
-
Metrics & Improvement: Track and report recruiting metrics (source effectiveness, pipeline health, speed to hire, speed to onboarding, and closing ratio) and continuously improve our hiring process.
