Are you ready to make a difference in the community as a part of a team working to end abuse and change lives? Hopeful Horizons is seeking a Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Victim Advocate to provide support, advocacy, and assistance to victims of sexual assault, domestic violence and adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Primary responsibilities of the Advocate include: providing immediate crisis intervention via telephone and/or in person – including hospital response/accompaniment in a four-county area; conducting outreach activities on university campuses to build relationships and increase awareness of Hopeful Horizons’ services; and completing intakes for people seeking services.
Qualified applicants must: have a bachelor’s degree in human services or similar field, or equivalent experience. Ability to work with a team and independently- must be self-directed. Excellent public relations, communication, organizational, and computer skills. Valid South Carolina Driver's License with a clean driving record. Must pass all background checks and become a certified SC Victim Service Provider within one year of employment. Candidates who are bilingual in English/Spanish are encouraged to apply.

- Monday to Friday, occasional evening and weekends
