Trustlane Automotive is looking for a licensed Smog Technician who is confident, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, professional shop. Position Requirements

Valid California Smog Technician License

Strong ability to diagnose and repair emissions-related and drivability issues

Solid understanding of OBD-II systems and engine/emissions controls

Able to self-manage — no micromanagement, no hand-holding

Works with urgency while maintaining accuracy and safety

Organized, accountable, and consistent in daily production

Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
What You’ll Be Doing

Performing California smog inspections accurately and efficiently

Diagnosing vehicles that fail smog tests

Completing emissions and related mechanical repairs when needed

Clearly documenting inspection results and repair recommendations

Working with a team that values speed, communication, and respect
Schedule

Compensation

$60,000 – $110,000+ annual earning potential
