Job Title: Residential Painter

Summary: To help ensure long-term occupancy in company properties by providing the highest possible level of all phases of maintenance and repair to residents.
You’ll be responsible for painting vacant apartments prior to new residents moving in, touching up and repairing occupied homes, and various interior and exterior property projects as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Understands and carries out all policies dealing with properties, owners and residents.
- Responds regarding all actions that involve or influence properties maintained in an appropriate manner.
- Remains accountable to the owners, the governing agencies and state.
- Follow safe work practices and ensure safe work practices are followed with all on-site employees, including but not limited to keeping a neat and organized shop.
- Possesses and promotes a safety attitude.
- Ensure safety inspections on a regular basis of equipment such as ladders, extension cords, etc.
- Preparation, tapping, putty and caulking as needed.
- Priming and finish painting of apartment units.
- Spraying, rolling or brushing applications.
- Removal & installation of Wallpaper as necessary.
- Lift and carry materials and equipment throughout work areas using appropriate equipment, paying special attention to all safety requirements.
- May be required to drive company vehicle for business travel for transporting supplies and equipment.
- Maintains good resident relations by prompt and complete response to resident problems.
- Responds to requests for information in a timely manner.
What You Bring to Us:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Experience in residential painting
· General knowledge of tools
· Personal, reliable transportation to get to work and valid driver’s license
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
· A sharp professional appearance
· Ability to regularly walk, climb, kneel, crouch and stand for long periods
· Ability to work outside and regularly exposed to all weather elements including extreme cold or heat, rain, sleet and snow
