We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential House Cleaner operating as an Independent Contractor to provide top-quality cleaning services for private homes and offices across Orlando and surrounding areas. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces when applicable.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure surfaces are hygienic and safe.
- Conduct floor cleaning and care, including vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and applying appropriate floor care techniques.
- Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
- Dust surfaces, clean windows, mirrors, baseboards and other fixtures to maintain a spotless appearance.
- Use manual handling skills for heavy lifting of furniture or appliances when necessary while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences and address any special requests or concerns.
Skills
- Proven experience, a minimum of 2 years in residential cleaning or housekeeping management with janitorial or custodial background preferred.
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must have an active drivers license and social security card
- Must be licensed and insured with general liability and have reliable transportation
- Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, equipment operation, and sanitation standards across various household environments.
- Knowledge of different types of cleaning: standard, deep, move in/move out, Airbnb.
- Ability to perform outdoor work when required, including patio or yard cleaning tasks.
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled appointments.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, carpet cleaning methods, and floor care techniques.
- Customer service orientation with clear client communication skills to ensure satisfaction.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
