Job Summary
We are seeking experienced FedEx CDL-A Drivers for Over-the-Road (OTR) routes to deliver freight across multiple states. This role requires professional driving skills, a strong safety record, and the ability to operate various types of commercial trucks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely deliveries, maintaining safety standards, and providing excellent customer service during each route. Candidates must possess a valid CDL-A license and relevant driving experience to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Manage route driving schedules to ensure timely deliveries across assigned territories.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams.
- Follow all federal, state, and company safety policies during operations.
- Handle freight securely, including freight that requires special handling such as refrigerated or tanker loads.
- Assist with forklift operation when necessary for loading or unloading cargo.
Skills
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving tractor-trailers, including flatbed, refrigerated trailer, tanker, dump truck, or roll-off truck.
- Proficiency in manual transmission operation preferred.
- Strong knowledge of freight handling, load & unload procedures, and route driving logistics.
- Experience with commercial driving equipment such as forklifts is a plus.
- Ability to operate various types of trucks including flatbed and tanker trucks safely and efficiently.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
