Interior Supply Inc. is looking for a CDL Driver for our Westfield, IN branch!

We are a Building Material Distributor with 21 branches (and counting) located throughout Indiana, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan and West Virginia. Our Products include; drywall, insulation, metal studs and framing, and acoustical ceiling tile among other interior construction products.
We operate within 100 miles of our branch, so our drivers and material handlers are home every night!

A Typical Day for an Interior Supply Inc. CDL Driver/BOOM Truck Driver:
Our new CDL Driver is responsible for delivering materials in a commercial vehicle (over 26,000 GVWR) to different locations and construction job sites, including loading and unloading those materials; by hand, cart, forklift or crane. You will also:
- Perform Pre-Trip inspection of truck and check product load for accuracy and make sure load is properly secured
- Determine most efficient route and examine job site with team mates for hazards prior to starting delivery
- Unload material by hand, with cart, using Forklift or NCCCO Boom Crane
- Get proper signature for delivery paperwork from the customer and communicate back to dispatcher
- Return to branch and reload for next delivery (same day or next morning)
- Assist with customer loading in yard, put away material, or general warehouse/yard maintenance as needed
What We Are Looking For:
- Company insurable CDL License
- Knowledge of load capacity, safety guidelines, and general maintenance of CDL trucks
- DOT Medical Card – current holder or able to obtain
- Product knowledge of building materials – preferred but not a deal breaker
