The AC Hotel & Element Boise Downtown is looking for a reliable and energetic Breakfast Cook to join our Food & Beverage team. The Breakfast Cook is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality breakfast items while maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards. This position plays a key role in creating an exceptional guest experience each morning.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast menu items according to recipes and brand standards.
- Set up and stock cooking stations before service.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented in a timely manner.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members.
- Perform opening and closing kitchen duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred.
- Breakfast cooking experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Typical shifts begin early morning hours 5:30am-1:30pm
