We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Benefits Clerk to support the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs. This role is ideal for someone with experience in benefits administration, HR support, payroll, or employee services who enjoys working directly with employees and ensuring accurate benefits processing. Key Responsibilities:
- Process employee benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, and updates.
- Respond to employee questions regarding benefits programs, eligibility, and enrollment procedures.
- Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS and benefits administration systems.
- Perform data entry and audit benefits information for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with benefits documentation, reporting, and compliance-related activities.
- Coordinate with insurance carriers, vendors, and internal HR teams as needed.
- Support open enrollment activities and employee communications.
- Research and resolve benefits-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure confidentiality of employee information and records.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in benefits administration, HR, payroll, or a related administrative role.
- Working knowledge of employee benefits processes, including enrollments and eligibility.
- Experience using HRIS, payroll, or benefits administration systems preferred.
- Strong data entry and recordkeeping skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with employees and provide outstanding customer service.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
