Job Summary
Join our mission‑driven retail team as a Store Associate at St. Vincent de Paul in Gwinn. In this hands‑on role, you’ll help create a welcoming, organized, and positive shopping experience for our customers while supporting the charitable work of the Society. You’ll be the friendly face of the store—assisting customers, preparing merchandise, maintaining clean displays, and helping ensure the store runs smoothly each day. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Assist with sales transactions and follow store procedures accurately
- Sort, hang, price, and stock donated merchandise
- Organize shelves, racks, and displays to keep the store clean and inviting
- Maintain store cleanliness, including completing daily housekeeping tasks
- Follow safety procedures for lifting, equipment use, and store operations
- Support volunteers and work collaboratively with staff
- Assist with voucher fulfillment when directed
- Answer phones using proper etiquette
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Assistant Manager
Skills & Qualifications
- Friendly, approachable, and customer‑focused
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
- Basic math skills for register accuracy
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs
- Reliability in attendance, punctuality, and task completion
- Commitment to the mission and values of St. Vincent de Paul
- High school diploma or GED preferred

Schedule
- No evenings — store closes at 5 PM
- Closed Sunday
- Shifts available Monday through Saturday
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
